How to Find a Saved WiFi Password on Mac

Every Mac computer comes with the “Keychain Access” utility, which keeps track of all the passwords associated with the computer. If your computer is connected to a WiFi network, the utility will have a record of the password to access the network. If you want to locate the password of your computer you can achieve it by following a few steps.

Step 1
Click the “Finder” icon on your computer’s dock, followed by the “Applications” folder. Click on “Utilities” and double click on the “Keychain Access” icon to run it.

Step 2
Click the “Passwords” option under the “Category heading. Review the list of saved passwords and double-click the network for which you want to get the password.

Step 3
Put a check mark next to the option “Show password” in the pop-up window that appears on the screen. Enter the password to enter the “Keychain” and click the “Allow” button to see the “WiFi” password. Now you will see the password next to the option “Show password”.
